Does anyone know what these are, and if they are worthwhile to process? If not, I'll just throw the whole board in telecom and move on.

Some type of SCR? Alibaba called them a relay, but that would be really surprising to me.
Then I'll also post a picture of another board where it's entirely gold plated? I have other boards with it, but they are HP instrumentation, in that case I can understand the gold plating...but these are simple little encoder wheel switches.
