Not to highjack Tzoax's thread anymore I will post interesting finds here. Mostly bonding wires in ICs, transistors. And anything else worth posting.

Here is example of 12 parallel bonding wires used for high power MOSFET. It was found in battery circuit from laptop.

I think battery was in 13-14 years old HP.
But similar mosfets can be found in many places. Gold wires come in standard thicknes and for more current parallel wires are used.
This one is from laptop motherboard.

But gold is not always there. Som recent devices use aluminium.
