I never said I'd seen it all.

Any Ideas?

The text on the PCB says "ADC BOARD", I suspect it is a multi chip module with a fast Analog/Digital converter. The right side looks like a number of analog circuits and with all the trimmers along the side it definitely looks analog. The +/- 10V also says analog.
The sensor connected to the metal is probably a bi-metal temperature switch, turning off the system or sounding an alarm if it is close to overheating.

The board looks like the right age to have fully plated conductors under the solder mask.

Cool looking module!

The board from some measuring equipment (Spectrum Analyzer, Voltmeter ???)
with HP Hybrid MCM (Multi-Chip-Module). I think it's not CPU :( , but it looks nice. :)

So no collector value. Scrap it?
I'm ready to buy a chip for my collection, if it is possible and will not be too expensive. I will pay for the shipping by US.
It is necessary to remove the ceramic chip from the heat sink, if possible.

There are two of them. Each different. Make a fair offer on both.
