Hello All,

I have cca. 2000pcs of this type connectors, they are used in tv for lcd panel signals. They are called lvds or ffc connectors. Have anybody experience with this types? Datasheets say they are gold plated, but about thickness no word. I have calculated (verry optimistic), with 30uinch thickness, yield 2,6g of gold.
Thank you.

I dont know, but all pins from connectors weight cca 270 grams. Area from 1 pin - 1,75mm2. Gold thickness 30uinch is 0,000765mm. So volume is 0.00133875mm3. One connector have 51 pins. 2000 connectors have 136.5 mm3 of gold. Like i said i am verry optimistic. But color of the pins say this is low yield pins.
