I've used every search term I can think of, and still haven't been able to find info on whether or not there are
toxins or EPA red flag material in the wastes from pyrolizing quads/flatpacks or north/southbridge and video
BGA chips (I'm wanting to do it like patnor does it)----------------does anybody have info on this, or know of a
link I can be steered to to find this out?

I'd really like to get this right, including the proper disposal of the leftover wastes, so any help would be very
much appreciated.

Cheers,

Mike

Morning Mike - if pyrolysis in done to completion, and i mean completion, the black residue will contain PM's, base metals, carbon(charcoal), filler, and silicon. After ashing, you should end up with PM's, base metal oxides, base metals, and silicon without the carbon.

Please, the components i have listed above are generalized.

Note: Caution should be given when dealing with all e-waste, there are allot of hidden nasties, and great care should be taken.

Cheers

Deano
