I'm using 5 gallon buckets one with H202 and the other with NaOH.

I think the life of the first bucket is near its end. How does one treat it?

Before I tried to recycle this by using silver nitrate to scavenge out the chlorides but unfortunately when used on an inquarted gold digest silver chloride precipitated. I think one would need a to heat the solution in order to completely remove the chlorides.

Also, stannous returned a positive test for gold in this scrubber vessel. I guess trace amounts from volatile gold chlorides when heated.

I'm thinking of using sulfamic acid then direct the fumes to the NaOH scrubber vessel then dump into the stock pot but judging from the last time I have actually performed maintenance on this vessel which was 10 months ago I think this would consume a lot of sulfamic acid.
