Lets' hope no one ever takes a gallon on to an air craft I would not like to see it turn to putty mid flight..
What should you call it when you partially dissolve other metals in Galium at room temperature?
would you be able to use the recovery method you cited to recover your Gallium if used in a recovery process like Amalgamite?

Ga behaves like Al in many ways.

It isn't a liquid at standard room temp, just above.

have i been missinformed by watching youtube videos ?

i see people playing with it in there bare hands, storing it in glass ??

Its oxide is what does the sticking, dilute aqua regia brightens it up.

I would not play with bare hands, its toxicity (or lack) isn't well established.
