Dear friends:
I was recovering gold from some material , and when i was precipitated it i got unusual material it was looks like metallic gold (i mean not brown or dark dirt it was yellow shiny gold)...!!!!???? :G
Could gold precipitate as metallic form ? and in which case could be that happen?

Just to be clear, gold is usually precipitated (reduced) in a metallic state. The brown "mud" is still metallic gold, but the particles are so small they don't look like gold. If you put a bit of the typical brown mud on a piece of white paper and rub over it with the back of a spoon or something similar, you'll see that golden shine.
