Dear folks:
I was refining gold finger with AR solution (positive sign with stannous chloride) ,and precipitate it with copperas, so the color change from yellow to brown....nothing was dropped after 6 hour.
Should i heat it little bit or waiting 24 H ???
Thanks guys.................

So many questions come to mind...
How many fingers? Was it a couple of boards' worth of card edge connectors, ounces, pounds, kilograms?
Were they from RAM, old ISA cards, PCI cards, etc.?
AR? Did you just throw whole finger cards into AR, or did you process them in AP or nitric then dissolve the released gold foils in AR?
How much AR?
When you say AR, do you mean classic HCl and HNO3, or was it some other combination of reagents?

A tiny amount of gold in a large volume of solution can take a long time to settle, if it ever does. Going from yellow to brown is usually a good thing. How much gold do you think you have in how much solution?
