I do a lot of tube repair and construction and I'm always looking for tube-based electronic stuff; mainly for parts, though I certainly buy complete units. Test equipment, power supplies, some old stereo stuff, some older computer stuff. Never hurts to grab a photo or two, and I may well be able to send you in a profitable direction even if I myself do not buy what you have.

Always willing to reply to offers. Shipping, of course, is always a consideration. I'm in Northern CA. I do straight ahead business and follow up timely and properly.

I have no doubt I can strongly beat whatever you might get for your items as scrap, and heck, I may just buy the tubes and you can STILL scrap whatever you have.

You may PM me here on GRF and I'll supply tel and email.

Many thanks!

Al

I sometimes come across such things, mostly old televisions, radios, etc, I will keep you in mind.

Many thanks! I appreciate it. TV sets usually yield very little...Industrial type stuff or busted up stereos are generally better. And old organs often furnish a pile of tubes and while only a few are useful and the 36-50 identical ones are not that useful, it's worth it because of those 36-50, generally 1/4 are in great shape and that kind of thing makes it worth it to help offset shipping costs. Thanks again!

Could very well be....capture a few representative numbers & PM me. Happy to reply, thank you. Typically....lots of the small ones will be the same type.

Are you interested in any of the old IBM punch card mainframe tubes? I collect old electronics parts and have several. Some of them are in near mint condition.

Al,

I have come across this old electronics testing equipment and manuals, I'd be willing to part with.

Rob

I've got maybe 300-500 new tubes packed away somewhere around here, mostly audio.

They've been stored in a temperature controlled environment.

Let me know if you're interested.

Cheers,

Mike

I have an old tube-type metal detector around here somewhere. Yep, you read that right, the thing has tubes in it, and it is portable!
