Hey guys I need a hand vacuum pump for my vac filtration setup. Doesn't have to be new, just functional as I will have a full electric setup once I get my new lab. Thank you.

Bah! Get a micro pump. Doing it by hand sucks. AND you can't leave it to do other stuff while it vacuums your chemicals.

This is close to what I use. http://tinyurl.com/zgxf3ro

I may have one in the garage if not look for an old O2 concentrator they have one in the bottom of them.

medical supply stores or nursing homes throw them in the trash all the time when the expire.

The pump looks like this one or real similar with a dual pistons.

Pumps are cheap, auto parts stores have hand pumps for using on brake line work.

But, you can get an aquarium pump and put a hose nipple on the intake hole as it's a great little vacuum pump.

I use my wifes old breast pump.. Just a couple mods made it work pretty well. I think we have another one somewhere around here.. Ill check, and if so, Ill send it with your next care package.

Edit to add: of course i will clean it first

I like this type; they last much longer than the standard plastic ones:

I have a big set-up, but for small batches these work fine! Bought the first one a couple of years ago... got my second one last week.

Take care!
Phil
