Nice find! Probably from 80-90's Telecom Carrier Equipment. The Amphenol connectors that connect to those line cards should have lots of gold plated pins as well, but you've probably already noticed that. Scrapping that stuff looks like a Zen garden to me.

Not so nice at the scrapyard here, once it hits the ground, its theirs and they won't sell it.
