Well the world population is rising and materials use is rising all disproportionately with sources and recovery . Mining a finite resource is going to rapidly get harder and more expensive and recycling isnt far off peak. Its a collision course for an explosion in precious metal values unless elements can be made artificially. And except in a nuclear fission or a atom a time with the hadron collider thats not happening on a viable level anytime soon.
Theyre juggling elements around for cheaper alternatives but the list isnt very long.
Sooner or later precious metal prices will boom like bitcoin.

Golds due another big push in the next year or two. So are most the precious metals.
