Its carcinogenic properties extend to other hydrazine salts. The sulfate is the most stable and easily used of the hydrazinium salts.

Lou,

I use a liquid Hydrazine (27.5%) with SSN to test for gold and also to drop the gold out of SSN leach. It will work with AR but not as well as the SSN. It works real good as long as your test sample or crushed ore doesn't contain a lot of Iron or Copper. My problem is buying it. I have found very few chemical stores that even know what it is and I haven't found anyone that stocks and sells it by the gallon. If you have any information on this please post it. Thanks.

Yes, but God awfully overpriced, even in bulk.

You'd be better off going through a large company, paying a deposit on a drum and getting it that way. Learned that through a friend here on the forum.

Link wasn't working when I tried to print it, so I found a new one. http://www.sciencelab.com/msds.php?msdsId=9927191
