Jothee

DPM=

Don't
Properly
Melt

:D

Could you please explain your question a little better or give us some more information as to what you are trying to do sir?

Hi Palladium ,

Thanks for your response . I'm a Naturopathy medicine practitioner from India . We are using this DPM in one of our medicine for paralysis . We used to get this from one of our friend who is a chemical professor . We used to get this Ash color powder called D.P.M which is not easy to melt [ nearly impossible to melt ] which we convert to kind of salt and mix with herbal extract and give as medicine for paralysis which is very effective in Naturopathy in India. If you can help us out will be grateful . Thanks .

Best Regards
Jothee

It would be best to ask the Professor, one of his collegues or students, one of which should still be alive.
You can definitely contact them through his University/School/College.

If that fails, ask on a Chemistry forum, such as sciencemadness.org , where there are many people with wide-ranging chemistry experience who might be able help you.

This forum is focussed on the processes for recovering/refining precious metals.

Hi aga ,

Thanks for your valuable suggestion .Will put my query in sciencemadness.org . I'm glad to get any suggestion from the forum on this .Thanks .

Best Regards

Abbreviations can have many different meanings knowing the context or field the abbreviation is used would be helpful in finding the answer to this question.

I found a few things DPM can stand for.
if we were talking water flow it could mean drops per minute, if DPM was after a doctors name he is a doctor of podiatric medicine, in India we could be discussing the Derek Prince Ministries (DPM).

Per the underlined - that's not even close to enough info - what/where is this "ash color powder coming from :?:

Is DPM written on the outside of the package that the powder is in :?:

Is there anything else in the package besides the powder :?:

If so DPM could be a reference to that (instead of the powder) :!:

Or it could be a reference to the package its self :!:

Here is a (LONG) list of acronyms for which DPM could stand for

http://acronyms.thefreedictionary.com/DPM

Go through the list & see what fits what you have
