Hey i am just starting out. I plan on taking about computers phones and tv's. If i can get my hands on anthing else great! I am not sure where to start..... well ok i do take apart items and get the metals out. Then what?
How do i seperate the gold from the other metals? After I do how do i refine it? If there is s a simple forum someone can direct me to that has a clean step by step prosess or something like that to help me I would be very greatful.

You've come to the correct forum if you want to learn about refining precious metals. But it sounds like you're just starting out in the Escrap business also so you probably don't have much saved that contains precious metals in the first place. Refining will come later, if you want to learn. A good place to learn about Electronics scrapping is here in the "Where to Find Scrap" section or at Scrap Metal Forum which I've linked to below.

At SMF, scroll down until you see the Electronics Recycling section. There's valuable information there also from people who've been doing it for years.

Read read read and above all, stay safe.

Look up forum member " palladium " in his sig file you'll find some useful downloads - suggested reading Forum handbook Vol 1 & 2 then Hoke's Refining Precious Metals Wastes is like the forum bible.

One of our forum moderators lazersteve has some great videos on his website http://www.goldrecovery.us

The another member samuel-a has more videos here http://goldnscrap.com/

Then I suggest you familiarize yourself with the reactivity series of metals, you can google this.
