Good evening from the UK :)

I have an almost endless supply of gold plated (0.05/0.10 microns thick) alloy and I'm just wondering which process is the best for removing and recovering this gold, so I can go ahead and study what I need.

Any help is appreciated :)

Thanks

Studying this whole forum is the best process.

I've been reading a lot recently, but I'm wondering if there is any specific process I should search for

Oh, please excuse the mistake in the title. I've corrected that now.

Thanks

What size are these pieces, and what base metal are beneath these pieces?
The sulfuric cell is usually best for gold plated items.
You still need to study the forum for the basics and safety needs.

The pieces are about 3/4 of an inch by about 6 inches with a steel alloy base.

Yeah I found the sulphuric cell method. Looks quite good, I have plenty of 96% as well. I really appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. Thank you very much, lots of studying to be had. I've also found the Hoke book which looks to be like a very good read.
