I have the Borax and Sodium Carbonate is that enough to use as flux for Refining Alluvial Gold? that I mixed 2 - 1 borax 2 - Sodium carbonate 1. realized I made mistake thinking Sodium carbonate alone will work Got a mess will probably mix that in with a Good smelt hoping to correct my mistake. Do I need more than Borax and Sodium carbonate and where can I get it if I need more for the mix, I can see the Gold suspended in the Sodium carbonate mess when I broke it open it just never separated to the bottom of the conical mold. :?:
