BGA stands for Ball Grid Array. 8)

Please educate me Glory, What is a ball grid array? A pick would be nice. I kind of have a visual of what you are saying but detail would be nice.

Picks from the original poster would be even better.

Thanks Buzz, I haven't seen any of these.

What kind of yield do they give? Kind of like the fiber packs with creamic tops?

He said he has 400 KG of these, he has been a busy beaver.

The BGA's are the chips that have the gold tab on one corner and can
be fairly easily popped off the boards with a sharp screwdriver or blade.

They look like the square Intel chip in the upper right hand corner of the
following IBM motherboard:

Wish I had the money to buy them, but with shipping from Isreal, would put me way out of the game.

I processed 40 of the chips like that and got .2 gram - .25 grams, reason for the range is my scale only goes to .05 gram.

Yep that is the one I was refering to. Thanks Glory. Hey Glory don't you have a bunch of these? You should with all of the CPU's you have offered for sale on EBAY.

His post says over 400KG, I remember one of the posters from Pakistan saying he could ship a gaylord for $50.00 but never got that confirmed.

Do they have flat rate mailer in Israel like in the USA?

I have been too lazy to remove the BGA's off of M/B's. At $2.25 a pound for
motherboards, I just can't get myself to put the effort in to taking them off.

HI EVERYBODY!

first, let me apologies for the delay.
thank you for the replys
i am proud to present that the lot is SOLD at a much higher price that i've seen on the forum.
out of a mixed lot of new ic chips ,i sorted 220 kg of ic's with gold on the corner .
shipped it with buyer fedex pickup service. costs about 1000$ to any where in the world .
i have some crates left with this and some gold plated matter , i am looking for a refiner who can give me nofees /high precentage , if you have any proposales i will be happy to recieve an email.

if you have in doubt about scraping bga ic's from boards ,you shuld stick to the boards with the largest amout of ic's on it and try to accumilate .

thanx.
