Welcome to the For Sale, Trade & Wanted section of the forum. This area is provided as a free service by the forum owners. It is a place for members to buy, sell, and trade their goods and services without incurring fees like eBay and other sale sites.

Think of this area like a flea market. Just like a flea market, this area is a platform for people to buy, sell and trade. And just like a flea market, the Organizer of the flea market is not involved in the transactions that take place. He simply rents spaces to the sellers. Likewise, the forum simply provides a place for our members to set up their virtual "tables" for other members see their goods.

And just like a flea market, there are risks. You may buy something that is not what you thought you were getting. Or you may buy a service from someone who does not end up providing the service you expected.

Life is full of surprises. Sometimes people get sick or are involved in accidents, and are unable to follow through on their obligations. The forum staff have limited abilities to force anyone to follow through on a deal. Our main power is to ban someone, but that may cut off a channel of communication you need. It also eliminates any ability to use the forum to bring peer pressure that might cause someone to follow through.

If you are going to enter into a deal, establish multiple ways to contact the other party. Obviously, the member name here for PMs, but email addresses, physical mail addresses, phone numbers, etc. are also useful in case one or more methods fails.

In any deal, communication is key. From negotiating a deal, to shipping and receipt of materials, to processing, to completion and return of any expected goods or money, stay in contact with the other party. If the other party runs into problems, try to be patient and continue to communicate with them while they work through the issue.

The moderators do want to know when a deal does not go as planned. But remember, this is a virtual space. We can't go to someone's door and force them to follow through on their obligations. The gold Refining Forum, its owners, staff, administrators, and moderators are not responsible for the content of this section, and are not liable for any misinformation contained in the ads or for the actions of the sellers. You use the postings here at your own risk.

We hope everyone who uses this platform receives the result they are hoping for. Best of luck to everyone.
