Was trying to torch the finger off an intel pentium 2 processor, it didnt come off as I seen it with other peoples torching so I turned the torch up a bit. The processor chip got hot and lit for a second and it smelled horrible. I assume I should wear a mask if I ever attempt it again. Any huge danger in a few breaths of it one time only? What do they contain aside from gold and silicon anyways?

Bad, bad, bad, please for YOUR health don't do that. Cut the fingers off with tin snips or something like that. The alternative to not breathing smoke in a smoke filled room is to ware a mask right?

sould i laugh very hard or not
you will NOT die from such a little exposure
BUT you should burn thing where you got a lot of air ...also if you intend to work with chemical maybe this could be a good warning for you to think about a way to avoid fume and vapor (like a fume hood)

I was outside and immediately went away from the area, don't think I got any direct smoke just a horrible smell went into the air? Should I worry if I am having no health issues? It was very quick and outside like I said.

not really from an occasional exposure. it may cause a sore throat at the worst depending on whether you suffer from something else. limit inhalation of pollutants as much as possible. wear a respirator when heating electronics as many older boards contain PCB's which is a cancer causing substance.

Will do, was a spur of the moment wonder if it works type deal . I am thinking I did it on one of those iron processors or ones with very little gold as the pins did NOT fall off. Was weird, oh well. First and last time. Just was such a pungent smell, guh.
