God i can see it now ! I'm going to be 60 years old and blue as a smurf!

You could spend more time in the shop, and less time in the sun :)

Some how I don't think that is your preferred method of avoiding turning blue though.

Lmao, so now it looks like we're all destined to be cremated at life's end. I suppose we should include some processing notes in our wills.

It could be the next forum competition.
Who ever retains the most Precious metals in there organic systems.
Just will your earthly remains to the forum and we can divide up the body to see who can recover the most.(Also spread the cost of crimation and spreed the individual around the hole world every one would be a winner.)
we could then have a leage board on who contained the most.I would like to have look at the wast barre as well to see how meany not so nice metals where lurking with in.

Well this is one of them safety posts that got a chuckle out of me for sure.

There is a easier way to turn blue while processing your silver, and it will save on filter expenses. Just hold your breath .

I suppose the different in people's absorption would be on how much Salt Peter an individual digested with the Au.
As the stomach is filled with mostly hydrochloric acid you would be fairly safe as long as your diet did not include a chemical that would help liberate Au so the hydrochloric acid could form a Chlorate.
As most of the other options in them self's' are quite toxic to consume, I suppose Potassium Nitrate would be the one One was most lightly to have to look out for and is in a lot of food stuff's as a preservative.
I should think even a small amount of AuClO3 would give you quite a tummy upset. .
