It depends on which type of salt it is so it can vary based on the actual gold compound of the salt and the additives in the salt to harden the deposit or brighten it.
Gold salts are usually sold in bottles which contain the number of ounces of gold as the bottle specifies even though the salt quantity is more. For example a 1 ounce bottle of gold potassium cyanide contains 1 ounce of gold but weighs about 1 1/3 ounces as the salt is something like 67% gold by weight. (if I remember correctly)
