Is their a good way to pour off the AP when doing header pins having problems with the gold floating.

You might try a drop or two of dish detergent to break up any surface tension. Most people remove any big materials first then run the AP through a filter to catch the gold flakes.

HI john witt please tell me what type of processor you use ceramic or fiber
in this case dilute your AP with distill water gold flake settle in bottom then pour of your AP . if you use fiber processor first you remove pins with torch then use sulfuric cell then refining black powder with hcl-cl or AR .because fiber processor pins is made up of steel and plated with gold which is difficult to dissolve alone in hno3 and hcl .
