Quick question. I have incinerated some gold edge flat packs. The powder sinks with the gold bonding wires In water. The problem I am having is that I want to separate the burnt epoxy (dust resin) from the bonding wires without using acid. Has any been able to make the epoxy dust resin float in a solution, say like coconut oil? Using something other than water? Thanks for any input.

Some photos for reference.

Yeah...fun right? 😆
I used to use a cast iron skillet and the back of a blunt axe head as a mortar and pestle. It worked pretty well.

When the epoxy is fully incinerated, it will turn to ash and should be easy to crumble. If you still have solid, hard chunks, you need to incinerate again.
