evaporated solution of gold & copper

HI to the forum
first time poster long time lurker.It takes a long time to digest all this info. so what I have is approx.14 grams of dissolved and evaporated gold and copper from what I believe to be karat jewelery my question is should I redisolve it in AP or nitric decant and then precipitate the gold or can you steer me to some other process

Bob, without knowing source tough question
if no tin or lead ,my choice incenerate, wash, nitric, aqua regia,best.
or acid peroxide then HCl/bleach can be easier for beginner.
remember powders can get really reactive, watch for foam overs.
