exposed?

My first time posting here..Ok heres the deal..I was doing 1 gram of gold cpu pins last night in 30ml of HCI..Venting failed and I may have been exposed for a very very short time to Hydrogen Chloride gas..I didnt show any signs of it that Im aware of, other than terror of the thought..No burning nose or throat, no caughing or eyes burning or watering..Sound like everything is ok?..Should I be worried about the next few days..?..Its been 24 hours since the problem...I will not be doing anymore pins untill I have the proper respirator..It was the normal white gas and the room seemed to be a very light haze at the time..Once I realized it, I opened all vents for the room to fresh air and removed my beaker to the outside and no heat..Thanks..Tom

You'll be fine maybe besides some respiratory irritation that may seem like a chest cold. It will subside in a day or two.

I def see the lesson..I have been studying for a while..I try to be as safe as poss, but sometimes still make a mistake..I even taught myself how tio fly a plane safely...But Im going to really study safety even more now..That was a scare..
