Ok so I know there isn't alot of gold on pinless gpu pads. I have alot that I've had forever. Can it just be process in a.p just like gold fingers?

What is a gpu pad?
If it is a thermal pad, it may or may not have minute amounts of silver, if it is high end.
You do not reveal enough information for us to give meaningful responses.

I've always called them pinless pads. Sorry about the misinformation. Most new cpu chips. Like i3 i5 i7 just the green bottom chips without the gold pins

That is Cpu's Gpu's are totally different beasts.
That is the Graphic Processing Unit in a graphics card.

If the CPU's are not old and collectable, I will remove the heat sink caps and throw them in with all the other plated parts, fingers, phone boards, etc.

There is not much gold plating on them, but no need to just trash them, IMHO.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't even see that I put gpu in the original posts. Yes cpu chips with the copper heat sink. Yes sometimes on heat sink they have g9ld plating. I'm talking about the gold 9n the bottom green fiberglass part. It's real thin plating but I have close to 1000 of them just sitting. Wasn't sure if simple soak in a.p would do the trick

AP will do the trick, but there is next to nothing there.
I do not know about the inside...
