I put som low carb steel in sufuric acid and got the pretty blue crystals ,can i drop gold from hcl/bleach with these crystals ??

Assuming you dissolved steel (iron), not a steel alloy containing trace elements, yes, you should be able to use the crystals. After all, that's what copperas is. An ounce of crystals should precipitate an ounce of gold.

Thanks harold ,i've used them for dropping gold in other sulutions but not with the hcl/bleach ,and yes its clean low carbon iron in wich the crystals were made from.

and what concentration should the H2SO4 be?
