HI 83206 (HANNA)is a multi parameter bench photometer for environmental testing. Critical parameters such as pH, dissolved oxygen, nitrite, ammonia, chlorine, and phosphorous or pollutants like chromium, nickel, silver and zinc can be monitored. It has 24 different methods, and 4 measuring channels. It is based on subminiature tungsten lamps and narrow band interference filters.

It's also compatible with windows.

I am looking for a reliable spectrophotometer and I ran across a couple. Does anyone have any experience with this specific AAS?

Dimensions: 235x200x110

Environment : 0 to 50*c

Voltage: 115v

I am trying to do my very best to leave the environment better than it was before I got here. It is a cheap meter that's why I am wondering if anyone has any experience with it. I want something reliable. I know you get what you pay for.

Thanks again:
Michael!

I have no experience with this particular test instrument, but I have used several testing tools made by Hanna, and I have had good success with their products.

Some of your cost will also be in reagents.

It isn't an AAS. It's basically a colorimeter. The most common of these is the B&L Spectronic 20, which was made for at least 60 years.

In the catalog it says it's an AAS but you have more experience than me. That's why I asked. I am searching for a decent one that isn't to expensive. I want to make sure it is very reliable. Thanks . Are there any other brands or devices that are at a reasonable price that is worth the money? I don't want a cheap piece of junk.
