Of lost, strange things.
I live near a beach that long ago had a Native population.
On a recent walk on the beach, I found this dagger.
There is an active fault right offIMG_20220501_192156588.jpg shore here, and many relics wash ashore in a "burned/cooked' looking manner.
I am know from my gold melting mis- attempts, gold will turn to a ruby looking "mass/stone" without enough heat.
My question is, this dagger has allot of those 'ruby' looking rocks embedded on it.
How could I find out if they are gold, without ruining the piece itself?
