Hey guys,

First off, thank you all for the introduction of hoke's book. I won't lie, I read the book and had to re-read several chapters along the way as got into the later chapters. I think I'm going to take a break from refining and read it again. So my question is, I refined my first 90 grams and got a total of 6 grams back of pure gold and the stannous test came back showing no presence of gold. So I think maybe I ran it too hot or maybe even made a huge mistake somewhere. Anyways my question is, is there a company or a place I can take my raw material and have the karat rating of my raw material verified? Also, Do I just suck it up and keep going or am I thinking right by stopping for a while and reading the book again? Thank you for any and all input.

Regards
