AaaaahhhH NO !!!
As you read and learn more about what you are here for, you will realize that the metal in the crook pots and the vacuum unit will rot out due to the vapors and fumes of the Hcl acid.
Those ebay systems are only for separating You from your money.
Search " fume hood " on this site and you will find many hits that can be adapted to your particular set-up.

PS. Good job in wanting to control the fumes you will eventually create if you decide to refine.

You could build a similar setup for a good bit less money, but note what 924T says about rotting out metal.

I have my lab set up in the garden shed, complete with a fairly effective gable vent fan (effective in that it keeps the fumes away from my nose, but they still exist as I'll explain). Three weeks ago, I mounted a cheap plastic shower curtain as a "poor-man's splash guard" at the front of my work bench, hanging from a row of the small brass hooks you can buy in 100 packs for $5 at Home Depot.

They have already turned black and crusty - And so far, I've only run have two small-scale attempts at recovery.

I also noticed with amusement, though somewhat less dramatic, that I had a 5/8" steel ball-bearing in the shed for who knows how many years. It had a few small specks of rust on it when I started setting things up this spring, but basically still clean and smooth. Today, it shows more rust than steel, and feels like sandpaper rather than a smooth surface.

Oddly (but fortunately), all the crappy nails and screws actually holding the shed together seem unaffected by the acid fumes. But any "new" metal I put in there seems to rot away rapidly.

TLDR: You do not want to recover/refine inside any building you care about, unless you can afford to set up a real, externally vented laminar flow hood (and even then, I'd probably stick it in the garage, not in the house-proper).

i think the simplest way to consider this is this: The fumes we refiners deal with are VERY dangerous and potentially life-threatening... would you trust your life to a contraption that looked like that? just my two cents.
