How could our library be complete without a copy of Hoke's book? Here are the links for the book.
For those of you who prefer to have their books in the "dead tree format" the following books are available from Legend;

Refining Precious Metal Wastes by Hoke HERE
Small Scale Refining of Jewelers Waste by Loewen HERE
How to Smelt your Gold & Silver by Chapman HERE
The 3 books listed above will give the non-chemist an excellent foundation in refining precious metals and are worth the investment if you are serious about refining precious metals.

And now on to the library of threads.....finally!

The Library section section is made up of previous threads that we feel are valuable for teaching refining. Each post as you proceed down through the thread is like another chapter. If you feel you want to comment on a thread found from a link, it can be done on the original thread as it is still open, the threads in this section are locked. A link to the original thread is at the end of each of these edited threads.

As we add threads to this section, the posts below will be edited to add in new links for the new arrivals. This is a work in progress.

Most of these individual threads have been edited to take out chatter and, for the most part, the bulk quoting of previous posts. In the general forum quoting entire threads has potential value as members can and have ruined a decent thread by editing out their posts, but here in the library, they are safe. Once it's here it will not be deleted.

We have made this Library section in an attempt to organize the individual threads in the posts below this one, to make them easier to find, and give a brief description of content. If you know of an interesting thread you would like to see here, PM a moderator with a link and if it is appropriate we will work to include it here. It is our goal to make this a respectable resource for refining so if you feel something is missing PM a moderator.
