I have a sample of ar that i've denoxxed and added
distilled water to. But, when I added ammonium
chloride I got no values. So, with it being a Ford
converter I thought matybe its a pd rich converter.
Adding the sodium chlorate doesn't get any precip
either. Stannous shows an immediate dark green
reaction. I know that I've added more than enough
sodium chlorate to get values. Help please.

Next step is to heat the solution near boiling, and introduce grains of sodium chlorate, which will precipitate palladium. It will come down as a scarlet red powder, which is water soluble.

Note that if your solution is dilute, it may not precipitate. You should work with solutions that are heavily concentrated when dealing with platinum and palladium. Otherwise you likely won't achieve success.
