Pryor 3/32 Type Set

Anyone own Pryor Type Set? I have a used Pryor 3/32 Type Set and like to clean the letters and numbers. What would be the best cleaner to use? I want the letters and numbers to be clean before I stamp Gold and Silver bars. Any idea are welcome.

Since they are steel I would think a brass wire brush would not hurt them.
