Well that article really "broke" all the misconceptions about Pyrex products. "Cracked" it wide open so to speak, "fracturing" all previous claims about Pyrex cookware.

Actually, it's pretty easy to tell the Borosilicate Glass from the cheap Soda Glass. If you look at the coloration looking into an edge, the Borosilicate is a bluish grey, while the Soda-Lime Glass is greenish.
If you look on fleabay, the older items can still be found in great condition for a reasonable price.
