Hey guys,
I used to work for a HVAC company that closed. I have a box of about 100 of these Relays.

My question is, should i sell these since they are practically new and have never been used. Or, should I break them down and seperate the PMs. I would rather sell them so someone else can use them. It is quite labor intensive to break them down from what i have noticed with other broken/old ones.

The part number is HCR-12CU1AA

Thanks for any info,
Tom

They will be much more worth as complete and functioning.
It may however, be hard to find the correct buyers.

Yes and my lack of actual knowledge with relays is a little overwhelming. I have contacted a few places and am waiting on some responses. However, you guys here seem to know more then some so called pros. So i definitely wanted to ask this forum along with a few emails.
Thank you for the response and help,
Tom

On Amazone they are going from $18 to $36 US, new. Make them an offer they can't refuse and ask $5 each...If, they buy the whole box. Then you can take that money and buy some silver rounds/bars without generating any toxic waste.

That is what i was thinking. The money will definitely be going back into refining. I am not comfortable enough with my home smelting set up yet to do any refining on my own. I currently have about 2.5 lbs of the silver contacts that have been completely removed from the base bar, 200 grams of gold plated contacts, and probly 10lbs of gold plated pins and boards from old lap tops, phones, tvs, and computers. I have been trying to read and watch as many videos as i can but i have not aquired everything needed to make it 100% safe for myself in my eyes. So i have been spending the last few months trying to learn and build up my confidence to do it while breaking down the materials i have the best i can.
Thank you for the advice,
Tom
