Originally had problem with excessive foam (was suggested to switch from a dark to a clear sulfuric acid (both were drain cleaner) which I did). When I applied the current it started normally but turned a royal blue in color. The processor pins had an appearance of having rust on them. I am assuming it is something in the acid. Is there a sulfuric acid that can be bought locally (I have bought from Lowes and Home depot) List brand if possible.

Once again lazersteve to the rescue. Thank you!

Royal blue would indicate copper sulfate.

Sounds like you need a higher concentration sulfuric.

I use Rooto brand or Boiled down NAPA battery acid.
