I know alot of the scrubbers use water/lye to scrub the fumes...does this work well with the chlorine gas that is produced with hcl/peroxid and hcl/clorox? Or would another solution be better to be used for this as I'm pretty sure the other scrubbers were more geared towards different acids what to be sure that I'm scrubbing properly. My hood is done and my scrubber is almost there!

Not sure if this helps, but it is a start.

Hypochlorite: Sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl) is a product of neutralizing Cl2 with NaOH. The reaction is 2NaOH + Cl2 ==> NaCl + NaOCl + H2O. NaOCl attacks glass, so improperly designed FRP shell construction or FRP circulating pipes can be ruined as the glass fibers are consumed. In addition, if the scrubber blowdown liquid is later acidified (as in a waste water treatment plant) the NaOCl breaks down, releasing chlorine gas!
