Splitting Water - Platinum

I'm separating the fines from the coarse material which will be subjected to a regrind.

Day three the float refuses to sink, curious if its possibly some platinum splitting the water to create hydrogen. Every so often I use the drywall paddle on my drill to stir the flaot into the water. But the float keeps coming back to the surface.

Usually when I do the copper test the spot turns out black in color because the mother liquor contains multi species.

This is a first for me where gold by herself has taken front stage.
