I have another small batch of scrap ready to go and some cemented silver cornflaked to inquart with.

The 'bar' far left of the image touchstone tests to 21ct(ish).

Would I be best to inquart the bar or could it go directly into ar knowing there will be chlorides to deal with?
Is there a silver content threshold for passivation?

Many thanks in advance.
Tim

Usually anything over 7.5% Silver for a static reaction hangs up an excessive amount of values to chloride passivation. I always prefer inquarting because it puts all of your Silver in one place.

Thanks 4metals.

Inquartation it is then.
