Hope this link works for you. On the left side of the screen you will see "launch OGS earth" Use the "abandoned, Inactive mines" database. You must have Google Earth on your computer to operate this. This will show you every mine that ever was in Ontario, along with related assessment docs, and history. You're good for years to try to soak it all in.

Sabina Guides Now Available for Free Download
Good news for Canadian rockhounds: many of the rockhounding guides, entitled Rocks and Minerals
for the Collector, written by Ann Sabina at the Geological Survey of Canada, are now available for free
download at the GEOSCAN website. For many years these guides (originally written in the 1970’s and
then revised beginning in the 1980’s) have been the “go-to” reference for finding mineral sites. Not all
of the guides have been scanned in yet, but it seems to be an ongoing project.
The GEOSCAN website is a bit hard to use, so to make it easier for you we have assembled a list of the
currently available guides.
