gold pins from a wire wrap board

Is it true that processing pins from a wirewrp board is more difficult than processing fingers? I have a couple large wrap boards full of pins, the boards are about 18" square (give or take) and probably have 100 pins per inch or something like that.
I'd love to process those boards, what type of yeild would I get from wire wrap board pins where the board is dated in the mid 80's?
