Gold plated custume jewelry

Hi,

Has anyone gotten involved with processing gold plated costume jewelry? I don't have a picture handy (just yet) but lets say I have 20 lbs worth of 24kt gold overlay or plated custume bracelets or necklaces. What sort of yields may come from these? Anyone?

I have been working some plated jewerly I baught on the cheap but have not worked it out to a metal bead yet. I started with too much acid so I am still adding as I got unit the acid is used up.
