So what is the element(s) in your "nugget"? It looks like a melted beer can from a fire pit. Don't forget to trim the finger nails, might put a hole in your PPE gloves.

Things really don't need you to be a d**k to me and I don't wear PP cuz I don't care and the reason it looks like crap is because I'm not good at it and I don't want to do it I want somebody else to do it for me I've already said that so rather than putting me down because this isn't my field of expertise maybe offer help or don't say anything thank you

And while I'm at it I thought you might like to know I didn't do anything to process it I pulled it from the ground and melted it that's probably why it looks like s*** but that's still amazing most things can't be melted right out of the ground

then pan out until You can get the concentrate
with a jewelry Lupe or a microscope
check if You have gold or sulfide

theres plenty of Youtube videos
showing what to do with sulfide.

and if You want to sale your ore,
in Ebay you can sale it.

and processing slags.
is very dirty job,but i like it.

i go for the easy precious metals

apply some process that She teach to your own concentrate and feel proud of what You can achieve in your own effort.

Well I was truly hoping to avoid having to process it myself however I do appreciate the insight and the advice and I guess I'll do it myself

I would however like to reiterate that the stuff that I am melting is melting straight out of the ground without crushing The ore first that might make a difference on whether somebody wants it or not

There are ores with dangerous elements, there are ores with so low part, of the metal, that its not economical and people that have a distrust to a refiner that say :It was nothing there. If you do no know what's inside you do not know what you are dealing with. You try to sell the pig, in the sack. No one here want to buy the pig, in the sack.

Continue to stack your ore. Study the forum and mined. If goodies, in your ore, it will not disappere while you are learning. But please do not try to sell the pig in the sack.

Plus I hear and completely understand what you're saying I have a lot of Washington electrum I have tried doing it myself I've read I'm not good at it it doesn't come out right and frankly I don't want the headache or the hassle however I know that there's enough here to be excited about I have rocks that straight from the ground can melt mostly silver but there's also gold a lot of iron some copper I even found a whole copper ore. I just don't want to see you go to waste and I don't have the talent to do it.

And for further clarification I'm not trying to sell the pig in the sack what I'm trying to do is give it to somebody no exchange up front other than the ore have them process it and then they keep a percentage and give me the rest back there's no money ever exchanging hands I'm not trying to sell anything I'm simply trying to trade a portion of what I have for a skilled tradesman to process it

So I think everyone has gotten the wrong idea about what I'm trying to do they think I'm trying to sell something here I'm not trying to sell anyone anything I am simply trying to get my horse processed for a percentage of the recovery I'm not trying to sell anything I'm simply trying to barter for the talent which I don't possess in exchange for the product that they can produce. That said I understand if nobody's willing to help but I'm telling you right now I have rocks that melt right out of the ground it's mostly silver but I have electrum. I have melted a few but they don't turn out looking good I've only got a few shiny pieces of silver the rest look mixed with iron or whatever else. I also tried my hand at leaching I could not figure out how to recover it without dropping everything so I give up I just want somebody to help me I don't want to know the process I don't want to do the process it's a trade.

Can somebody tell me why when I use borax instead of getting a solid metal I'm getting what looks like gold colored glass when it's done but obviously it's not glass it's the hardened borax. What am I doing wrong or how do I fix that do I just keep burning it until the borax is gone

I understand that you are looking for someone who can help you but making multiple posts about the same subjects is against the rules for the reason that it takes up extra room and you need to ask for a moderator to move it with your other post.
You may be frustrated with the answers that you have gotten in your other posts but your bad attitude and bad language is not tolerated here, there are young kids who also read on this forum so the reality is the backlash you received was self induced.

What are you using the borax for? Are you smelting? What are you smelting? There's not enough information.

As said earlier, an assay will be needed in order to catch interest, I think.

What kind of torch are you using to melt the metal with ?
Can you post some pictures of the ore the way you found it ?

I'm using a propane torch and this is what have melted in just the last twenty minutes. It's impossible to tell by these photos but this is a green yellow silver metal. I'm assuming it's green gold
