I bought a crate of 1993 pager PCMCIA cards. Each one has:
1 gold plated battery holder 0.56 sq. inch.
1.65 oz of pcb,
1 ceramic clock chip.
I bought 2500 of them for a penny a piece. I am feeling pretty good about the purchase so far.
Here is my question: Glued to the top of the case is a round antenna. It has oxidized into a colorful little spot about 3/4" in diameter with a dull gold looking ring with the blue green oxide in the middle. Before I throw them into the tin scrap pile, I wondered if anyone knows if there are PM's worth saving/recovering. I really only have experience with Au and Ag so far, but I do like a challenge.
Here are a few to give scale
Thank you all for your input.
