motherboard fingers gold or plated ?

Assuming they are yellow, the fingers are gold plated and never solid gold. The only common thing on electronic materials that is solid gold is the yellow IC bonding wires. However, it takes about 2 miles of those to make an ounce. Most everything else is plated.
