How do you people find Karat scrap?

Not Amazon or EBay. Do a Google search for chemistry lab glassware. I can’t remember the names, but there are a few with anything you might need or want.

Concentration of Nitric Acid needed for refining Silver.

Do it outside or in a fume hood, and in the all-glass apparatus. For efficient separation, rectifying column is needed. Without it, loss of the acid would be significant and concentration of the remaining acid won´t be that high.

    Palladium precipitation by formic acid

...Not perfect, but I obtained 99.4 % Pd at the end. It isn´t that complicated at all, one thing that you really need is patience and good hood, due to possibility of CO formation from partial oxidation of formic acid. Additionally, it is wise to wash Pd sponge with 5-10% H2SO4 to clean it from...

These metal Processor chips have me stumped! Over 18 lbs of them!

HCl eats Aluminum fast and efficient, but it can create a gooish slime that will lock up the foils. Maybe a Sulfuric stripping cell will fix this?

Beaker broke, lots of steam, did I just lose 1/2 Ozt?

Stainless and HCl may not be a good Idea. Additionally you now have Gold cemented to the stainless. Pour off all you can and gather it in a safe place until you can treat it properly.
