Just a quick question about these do they have any values worth pursuing?
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have no clue but I did google it.

Acording to this a bit of sputtered gold or silver on some types.
but most like not worth recovery.

I did a lot of work on these back in the day, they were worth doing by cyanide but you needed a lot of them, preferably in continuous supply, to be worth while.

I mainly worked with processing rejects but would expect that used disks would have similar returns.

The gold was the major value source but the silver added some extra returns.

Before taking a walk down this path make sure the discs you have are sputtered in gold. The silver "looking" discs are most likely, (greater than 99% likely), to be aluminum. The mass produced for the home market discs are almost always Al, a few special releases, etc, were gold.

I worked in the disc production industry for 10 years and used Al and once in a blue moon gold. I never heard of anyone using silver.

The discs that targeted the professional market and were re-recordable were the ones with the most gold content. NASA used a boat load of them back in the day.
